Montana Motor Vehicle Division - Drivers Services
The Department of Motor Vehicles will now be at the Courthouse in Townsend, located in the basement, every Thursday 9:30AM - 12:00PM and 1:00PM - 3:30PM for renewal & new drivers license tests.
All services require an appointment; click here to make an appointment.
Appointments can also be made by calling the Customer Care Center at (406) 444-1772 during regular business hours. You may experience shorter wait times by calling during lower call volume days, Wednesday and Thursday.
