The Department of Motor Vehicles will now be in Townsend at the Courthouse on Thursday of every week for renewal & new drivers license tests.

All Services Require An Appointment.

Appointments can also be made by calling the Customer Care Center at (866) 450-8034 during regular business hours. You may experience shorter wait times by calling during lower call volume days, Wednesday and Thursday.
